It's A Hot Day In Central Texas

As you can see from the top photo, it is hot in Central Texas this week-end. The thermometer shows 101 and that was down from 102, (inside the shop). I keep hydrated with water and GatorAid from the shop refrigerator.
In the bottom photo, you can see that I have finished the engine re-paint, and I will install the engine and transmission back in the chassis tomorrow morning. As you can also see, I now have an engine hoist, shop crane, or whatever you want to call it. It is foldable, which will allow me to store it inside instead of outside. I got it put together on Friday, and will use it to re-install the engine and transmission.
Probably won't do any yard work this week-end, grass hasn't really grown much since the rain stopped, and we're starting to get some dry looking places. I guess that we'll have to start watering again soon.
Until next time...
