Road Trip, Summary

The trip is over, I got a good night's sleep, and I'm relaxing in my recliner.

When Dave first approached me about taking the trailer to NY, I joked, "yeah, right"; then I said "Why not?". I was unsure of my own physical stamina for a long trip like that, especially going by myself. It would have been a more pleasurable trip if the van's cruise control had worked, and I could have used the XM radio during the 1st half of the trip; but, it was a enjoyable trip. I got to see a lot of territory that I may never have visited otherwise. The New York traffic was heavy and the drivers were very aggresive, but it was bearable.

Thanks to Dave and Kandi for the opportunity to do this.

Marilyn and I will make another trip this week-end, we're going to Edinburg to visit my Mother who will be 90 years old on the 26th. We will also go to a "mini-reunion" of our high school classes. And up-high on the priority list, I AM BRINGING MY PROJECT PICKUP HOME.
