Harry's Hotrod Corner

The last leg of the journey started in West Memphis, AR. I left around 6:40AM and had no problem making Dallas by 2PM. The races that the Booths were to compete in was postponed due to rain, so I made a bee-line for Big Spring. When I reached Weatherford, all west-bound I-20 traffic was re-directed off of I-20 and onto Hwy 180, and we all crawled through downtown Weatherford, around the courthouse, and out the other side. All total, it took about an hour to make the 5 mile trip. West of Weatherford, the skys darkened, (see photo above), and the rain came, (in sheets). I made it to Big Spring around 6:50PM. After handling the paperwork with Kandi (Burris), I left around 7:30 and arrived home at 12:30AM. All total, I traveled 1033 miles in about 18 hours.
