Road Trip, Day 2

Day 2 started in Texarkana around 7:30AM. I continued on I-30 to Little Rock, where I got on I-40 through Memphis, Nashville, and stopping in Knoxville, TN. I arrived around 9:30PM EDT. I have taken a few pictures, but I am too tired to load them onto the laptop, then post them to the blog. I may have more time tomorrow night to do this.

The trip so far has been uneventful, just cruising at the speed limit, and enjoying the scenery. I didn't realize how many trucks there are on the road. I haven't been on many road trips since I quit racing, and found that probably 40% to 50% of the vehicles I've seen on the interstates have been 18-wheelers.

Tennessee is BEAUTIFUL! I'd like to bring Marilyn into this state sometime for a slow scenic cruise.
