Road Trip, Day 4
I ended day 3 at Allentown, PA on Wednesday evening. Thursday morning, I got fuel and headed east out of Pennsylvania into New Jersey. After going through Newark, I got on I-95 and headed north up to Ft. Lee, taking the George Washington bridge across to New York. I then took I-678 down to JFK Airport, arriving at ARFF Pro around 10:30AM. After unhooking the trailer, and loading the van with some gear to take back to Texas, Adam got the radio fixed in the van but was unable to get the cruise control fixed. I left around 12 noon, and started back-tracking. I made it back to Salem, VA, (just south of Roanoke), around 9:45PM and found a motel.
The photo above is of Adam and Larry at the ARFF Pro shop at JFK airport.
Until next time...
I'll be leaving in a few minutes and will probably try to make Memphis or Little Rock by tonight.
