Ready To Haul Something

The photo above shows the gooseneck hitch that I got that fits the rails that the 5th wheel hitch uses. The hitch is rated at 25000 lbs with 6250 tongue weight, so it should work for anything that the pickup is capable of pulling.
I took this photo just before taking it out on the road for a test drive. Every thing works as it is supposed to and there is no problem with clearances between the truck and trailer during tight turns. I turned the pickup 90-degrees to the trailer and everything clears by quite a bit.
I still have the 5th wheel hitch and it takes about 10 minutes to remove one and place the other one in its place.
We're looking forward to a full house for Thanksgiving. Teri & Kelli and their families are coming from Colorado, and Kevin and his family are coming from McAllen.
