After a couple of trys, I got the gauge placement finalized, along with the A/C controls/vents; however, when I mounted everything in the insert, I find that the top part of the tachometer and speedometer are hitting the dash sheet metal behind the mounting point. The A/C control unit also needs a little extra clearance; so, I'll start over again and cut the holes 5/16" inch lower in the insert. Every thing else looks OK.

I've got some annual leave to use before the September 1st, so I'm taking off Wednesday and Thursday and will work on the truck. Wednesday is actually a holiday, (LBJ's birthday); then Labor Day will give me a 6-day weekend, :).
