Changing Work Sites

I have been working for the state for 5 1/2 years, and we are now moving. All of the WIC personnel will be located at the Howard Lane facility in north Austin. The old office is located at 1100 W 49th St. in Austin; and the new office is located at 4616 W Howard Lane in Austin.

This means a 25-mile round trip a day for me, instead of 48. With the current gas prices this will be really welcomed.

The physical move will occur tomorrow, (my normal day off), and we will show up for work at our new office Monday morning.

Marilyn and I are going to the Valley this week-end to visit Mother. We have been forewarned about the abundance of mosquitos in the Dolly aftermath; so, we will spending most of our time inside an air-conditioned structure, :).
