Inks Lake 1B
We had a quiet evening of reading/surfing the net/playing computer card games/ and listening to the radio, (no TV reception). We woke up around our usual week-end time of 5:30. We had biscuits and honey for breakfast then went for a walk around 7:30, returning at 8:00. A cold front blew through around 8:20, and the north wind is really blowing. We have several neighbors staying in tents, and that can't be a warm place to be sleeping tonight, (it is supposed to be near freezing tonight).
I took the photo near the end of our morning walk, at the park headquarters. We walked up a small rise to get a better view and the wind was blowing stronger up there than the walkway we were using.
We're going to make a run to Burnet this morning to get a couple of things; then go over to "The Tamale King" mexican food restaurant where we're meeting Bill & Joan Mathews for lunch.
Until next time...
