Cataract Surgery Successful

I had cataract surgery on my right eye yesterday morning and everything went smoothly. I returned to see the doctor this morning, and he said that everything is OK. I will still be putting drops in my eye for another 10-14 days. I'll return to see him on December 7th, and will probably get my glasses changed to a new prescription. I worked on Monday, and will not go back until next Monday. This is the first sick leave that I've taken since I went to work for the state, (I changed my work schedule hours back in 2005 when I had the 2 1/2 months of radiation treatments).

Marilyn has been a REAL BIG HELP during all of this. I never would have remembered everything, and she's been handling the eye drop applications.

I bought a pair of bucket seats on Ebay for my project pickup, and they were delivered yesterday. I'll see about building the mounting brackets for them this week-end or next.

We've got a cold front coming through this afternoon that will lower our temps quite a bit, so for the next day or so, I'll be reclined in front of the TV, (resting my eye of course).
