Day Trip To Corpus Christi

Marilyn and I made a quick trip to Corpus Christi today. We left around 7AM and arrived at the Brown's around 10:30. After visiting for about 30 minutes, we drove out to Odem to see their new home. It has been finished for a couple of months, but they haven't sold their old one yet in Calallen. Dave, Debbie, Katie and Emily came a little before 1PM on their way back to Houston from Raymondville. We went to Miller's BBQ for lunch, then Dave and his family headed on back to Houston and we visited with Jean and Elwyn for a few more minutes before heading back to Hutto. We got back around 5:45 and were ready to relax for a while.
