Coldest Morning This Fall
We had a very cool 37- degrees this morning, with highs in the upper 60's today. It is supposed to be clear today and tomorrow giving us a beautiful 2 days before the rain starts Saturday night. Some of our Central Texas toll roads opened up on Tuesday, and we now have 27 miles of toll roads to check out. I used them on Wednesday, and didn't really see any quicker trip to/from work. I'm going to the office today, (to get my annual flu shot), and will take Marilyn for a ride on some of the toll roads.
I have installed the new Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 on my home PC and so far it looks pretty good.
Hope all of you have a great weekend.
Until next time...

Disappointing ref the toll roads, at least for your route, huh? Surprised.
I tried SH130, which is open from Hwy 79 to Hwy 290, and that stretch of road is great, very quick at speed limit 65/70; but the 8 miles or so of Hwy 290 from SH130 back over to near IH35 is VERY, VERY slow, (almost bumper to bumper). If they could get that stretch of road uncluttered, it would be worth it. Of course, this is in the afternoon, it takes about the same amount of time as IH35. In the morning, the time is about the same for SH130 and IH35, so I'll take IH35 with no toll.
Wow, 37! and Denver expecting "above zero" this weekend! It's currently a nice 58 here, be warmer this weekend and then even warmer next week.
I had installed IE7 beta awhile back just to look at it, but it messed up my AT&T DSL install, so I had to uninstall it. And since I almost exclusively use Firefox (seamonkey on my OS/2 & Linux machines), I havent been too excited about the IE7 release. As the mozilla products have had most of IE7's features for awhile.
