In the top photo, 3 of our 4 visitors today checked out Brushy Creek. That's Francis, Patty, and Penny. They were on their way to Dallas and stopped by for a short visit. Francis had never been here, and they wanted to check out the creek and our low-water bridge.

The bottom photo shows the pickup as it sits now. I got the front-end sheet metal put on last week-end, and need to start fitting the fenders, (that's a note on the door as a reminder to keep someone from opening the door and banging the fender).

I made an early morning trip to get my trailer inspected for the state-required vehicle inspection, (I wasn't aware that it had to be done). After returning home, I made a quick trip to the local John Deere dealer to get a "spring tune-up" kit. I got the riding mower and the small mower serviced for another season of weed-mowing, then I mowed the yard.

We had some record heat, (94 degrees here and in Round Rock). A "cold" front is coming through early tomorrow to give us a high of 80 tomorrow, (low of 58); so, the weather will be great for getting some more work done on the pickup tomorrow.
