Pickup Bed Assembly

After receiving my missing parts for the pickup bed, I started putting it together following the instructions. My previous assembly was guided by feel and guess work. I had previously assembled it on the chassis, and it was supposed to be assembled off the chassis and then install the assembled bed on the chassis. I got just about everything assembled, but I need to find a woodworking shop to get some holes drilled with a "forstner" bit to recess some stainless washers in the oak slats. These washers are for the carriage bolts that hold the bed to the frame. These holes must be drilled with a forstner bit in a drill press to assure accurate diameter and depth.

Marilyn and I are going to Seguin tomorrow for a visit to the "Super Chevy Show". This event is held at racetracks across the country several times a year. They have a car show, swap meet, drag race, and vendor display/sales.
