No work today. Freezing rain, sleet, and possibility of snow make traveling the highways in Central Texas very hazardous. There is a flow of warm moist air coming from the Pacific across Mexico going north-east across Central Texas. That moisture combined with a strong cold front is causing all this inclement weather. The forecasters are calling for temperatures to rise above freezing around noon on Wednesday. The forecasters are predicting 6" - 7" of snow around the San Angelo area today.

I've been out in the shop a few times over the past couple of days, but trying to work in temps around 33 - 35 degrees is difficult. Cabin fever hasn't set in yet, but I'm getting tired of sitting in front of the computer.

My 5-year old Sony Clie PDA is acting real flakey. For a while it won't power off, (until I disassemble it to unplug the battery); then, I get fatal errors when I try to run a program. With the possibility that it may never return to normalcy, I've ordered me a new Dell Axim.

Until next time...
