Relaxing Weekend

I've been taking it easy this weekend, (I even took a one-hour nap Saturday afternoon). I've been working on Charlie's program and will again today, (Sunday). The heat wasn't as bad yesterday as it has been, but still reached the upper 90's.

It looks like Marilyn is going to stay home next weekend and not go to the Valley with me. I'll visit Mother in Edinburg, check on the bodywork progress on the old truck, and maybe take in the drag races Saturday night. Kevin said that Billy Penland planned on going out to the races and firing up the BBQ grill for fajitas and shrimp.

There's just two weeks left in August, time is flying by and it will be time for cool fall weather before we know it.
